Draft
Remembering to forget,
And grasping every subtlety
Of forgetting to remember
That it’s a piece incomplete
Grasping every subtlety
To satiate this tapped soul,
Loosening the inexplicable wires
Who kept it tightly entwined.
It’s forgetting to remember
That it’s a piece incomplete.
And convincing oneself
Of one’s own defeat.
Doubt boils
In the fragmented pit.
A bubbling softness towards the comprehension
Of the crime that was too easy to commit.
I asked you, Circus members, to send me words which I will use as inspiration for short poems. Each piece is titled according to the word it was inspired by.
Love, Sidian
