Sister dear,

Don’t listen to their words.

Your memory precedes you,

Pray I that you remember those words

That you heard,

Back when it barely broke dawn,

Back when you gripped my shoulder

And never ceased to hold on.

I know you remember.

Don’t listen to their words.

They will fill you with such hatred,

Such self-loathing and horniness for self-destruction;

Please forget all that you have heard.

I asked you, Circus members, to send me words which I will use as inspiration for short poems. Each piece is titled according to the word it was inspired by.

Love, Sidian
